Ownership Channels

There are three different types of Ownership Channel, they are:
- Public
- Private
-Independant

Public - it is owned by the people and is funded by the goverment. An example of this would be the BBC.

Private Ownership - This is usually a individual comnpany. An exmaple of this would be Virgin Media. This is beccause they own more than a TV service such as trains, mobile phone contracts and holidays. 

Independant Ownership - An example of this would be WHSmith and even social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. This is because there is only 1 of them such as there will be never be the same social networking website, they may be similair but never the same.
