Newspapers – The sun, News of the world, daily mail, daily express, daily mirror, The gazette, The Guardian, The Independent, The Metro.

Hard news – politics, crime, war, economy. It takes quite a factual approach and provides lots of information.

Soft News – arts, lifestyles, entertainment, gossip, celebrities, gardening tips etc. it tried to entertain and advise the reader.
Tabloid Newspaper – use slang, cop instead of police officer, basic story only. A few tabloids papers are The Sun, Mirror, Metro.
Broadsheets are – the opposite of tabloids, more detail than articles, the articles are much longer and much more hard news. They are called broadsheets because are much bigger than tabloids they are in fact 22inches.
